Four charged in drug case

Complaints by neighbors, tips from the public, and multiple Code Enforcement violations leads to the arrest of four individuals on various drug charges.

Investigators with the Panama City Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit received tips from numerous sources regarding suspected drug activity at a residence in the 2700 block of E. 7th Court. The residence had also been reported for numerous Code Enforcement violations.

Over the course of two weeks, investigators made numerous traffic stops and arrests after individuals were seen leaving the residence. Through their investigation, SCU was also able to determine the owners of the property.

After securing and executing a search warrant, investigators announced the arrest of the following: 

  • Heather Christine Thome, 45, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession and or use of narcotic equipment. 
  • Stephanie R. Lampkin, 36, charged with felon in possession of ammunition and possession and or use of narcotic equipment. 
  • Christopher Arthur Hartter, 42, charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, tampering with or destroying physical evidence, possession and or use of narcotic equipment. 
  • Timothy Pete Beck, 43, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), felon in possession of ammunition, possession and or use of narcotic equipment.

All were booked into the Bay County Jail.  Panama City Police are asking for anyone with information in this case to call the Panama City Police Department at 850-872-3100, or report tips anonymously via the “Panama City PD” Tip411 app.
