Bay District Schools will see a familiar face as their next board member.
Ann Leonard defeated Frances Gordon in a close elcetion Tuesday, winning 56.41 percent of the vote.
Leonard is the former principal and director of Haney Technical Center, while Gordon is a former educator from Bay District Schools. The seat was previously held by Brenda Ruthven, who announced earlier this year that she would not be seeking another term in office.
