Suspect in burglaries located and charged

Panama City Police Department has located and charged a juvenile suspected in two
burglaries last weekend thanks to numerous tips from the public.

On March 24th, two burglaries occurred, one in the 3300 block of Frankford Avenue and the other in the 3600 block of Calhoun Avenue. Through surveillance video, detectives with the Panama City Police Department were able to identify a suspect.

After information on the individual was released to the public and through social media Tuesday, numerous tips were provided to the PCPD. As a result, a 13-year-old was located and charged with the two counts of burglary and providing a false report to law enforcement.
