LYNN HAVEN, FLA. — The City of Lynn Haven will celebrate its Annual Halloween Carnival and Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 31st, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at Sharon Sheffield Park at 901 Ohio Avenue.
The Halloween Carnival is a family-friendly event and free to the public. More than 30 trunks from around Bay County will be lined up on the outskirts of Sheffield Park, offering kids a safe place to trick-or-treat while enjoying carnival games from local organizations. In addition, there will be food trucks, face painting, balloon artists, stilt walkers, axe-throwing, photo opportunities, and lots of candy – for everyone to enjoy!
Attendees are encouraged to come out in their Halloween costumes to help create a more festive atmosphere. With a growing number of attendees each year, the city anticipates approximately 8,000 individuals in attendance.
Lynn Haven City Manager Vickie Gainer shares that the Halloween Carnival symbolizes the strong community in Lynn Haven. After Hurricane Michael, this event brought many residents together who had lost so much as a means to celebrate and thrive in the face of hardship.
“Our Halloween Carnival is always a family-fun night for children, friends, and neighbors of Lynn Haven to enjoy. We are excited to provide an event that highlights our community and the wonderful families who live here.”—Lynn Haven City Manager Vickie Gainer
The city is proud to host its annual Halloween Carnival and Trunk or Treat with the help of our sponsors, Dewberry Engineers, Panhandle Engineering, and Dog Academy.
